Job Description
- Identifying and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
- Working with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand without overstocking.
- Analyzing market trends and consumer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Placing orders for products and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information.
- Working with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align purchasing decisions with company goals.
- Responsible for preparing, handling and buying fresh seafood at fishery port and ensuring high standard of quality.
