Merchandise Assistant – JD Group

The JD Group is recruiting for a Merchandise Assistant to join our Bury Head Office, within the JD Sports Fashion fascia.

Responsibilities

• Support size ratio of lines on smaller brands under AM guidance; create purchase orders, reconcile supplier order books, and communicate all anomalies.
• Update supplier order books and ETA reports, book product as directed, liaise with warehouse for delivery issues, and perform cost and retail checks on orders booked into the warehouse.
• Print and run key trade reporting, develop product area awareness, maximise best sellers through review of ideal stock levels, action stock movements (IBTs) with the Assistant Merchandiser, and collate and check weekly price amendments.
