SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing tests through approved department procedures and in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements.



DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)


+ Perform laboratory tests accurately and in a timely fashion following established guidelines and physician orders. Report all tests in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner in compliance with documented laboratory procedures timely.

+ Inform appropriate personnel of department supply needs ensuring uninterrupted testing.

+ Perform, record and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.
