Position is located:Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital
Work Type: Full Time
Hours Per Week: 40.00
Work Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Summary:
Perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff
+ Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff. Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries, or medical consultations
+ Schedule appointments and meetings as assigned
+ Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
+ Maintain medical records, technical library, or correspondence files<...
