**Overview**
Medical Records Technician (MEDCOM):
Bowhead seeks a Medical Records Technician to support the Office of the Surgeon General/US Army Medical Command Disability Evaluation System (OTSG/ MEDCOM DES) contract in Falls Church, VA. The Medical Records Technician retrieves weekly the Master Loss Consolidated Report (2,000+ records) from Army G-1 and combine with the Cumulative Master Loss Consolidation Report (400K+ records) which consist of all the records from Army G-1 reported during a specific timeline. These weekly data retrievals will be part of the Service Treatment Record (STR) Timeliness Report.
**Responsibilities**
+ Generate the STR Timeliness Report. This task consist of a data base export and consolidation of reports from the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Records Processing Center (ARPC) and the Master Loss Consolidation report and then data import to the Timeliness Report tool in Microsoft Access. ...
