MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST / PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR | SANDTON

A well-established specialist Ophthalmology practice in the Sandton area is seeking a Junior Medical Receptionist / Practice Administrator to join a small, professional team.

This role is ideally suited to a detail-oriented and organised individual with 1–2 years’ experience in a medical reception environment, who is comfortable managing patient bookings, diary coordination, theatre lists, and medical aid pre-authorisations (with a strong focus on Discovery Health).

The successful candidate will be responsible for patient communication, billing and coding using systems such as Vericlaim or similar, and following up on patient accounts, while maintaining a calm and professional approach under pressure.
