Core Responsibilities

+ Patient Check-In/Out: Greet patients, verify insurance eligibility, process co-pays, and ensure intake forms are complete.

+ Scheduling: Coordinate provider calendars, schedule appointments, and perform reminder calls.

+ Phone & Triage: Answer multi-line phone systems, route calls to clinical staff, and assist with patient inquiries.

+ Record Keeping: Update and maintain patient records within Electronic Health Record (EHR) (https://www.coursera.org/articles/jobs-medical-receptionist) systems.

+ Clinic Coordination: Act as a vital liaison between patients and physicians while keeping the waiting area clean and secure.
