Job Description
Job Summary:
+ Preparation of treatment rooms
+ Intake/interviewing of patients
+ Measuring and recording patient information (e.g. vital signs, medications, history, etc.)
+ Performs pre-visit chart preparation by reviewing records, updating medications and care gaps, and flagging outstanding items for provider review
+ Processing of orders to include entry, obtaining insurance authorization and referrals
+ Provide forms as required by specialty to the patient and assists with completion, as needed
+ Assist with the cleaning and restocking of patient rooms
+ Capable of sterilizing instruments, using proper sterilization procedures and equipment (e.g. autoclave)
+ Inventory and order medical supplies and materials
+ Uses professional and effective phone skills, providing answers in a timely manner
+ Clerical duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records and completing ins...
