**Job Description**

The Medical Clinical Associate, through the performance of a variety of technical and routine tasks, contributes to patient care in an ambulatory setting, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and within the policies of the Department of Nursing and The Mount Sinai Health System.

**Qualifications**

+ High School diploma or GED
+ Preferred experience in a medical office or acute care setting.
+ Certificate as Medical Office Assistant/Nursing Assistant preferred.
+ BCLS certification Required Issuing Authority: AHA or Red Cross
