We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to support revenue cycle operations for a healthcare organization in Columbus, Ohio. This part-time contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing a high volume of billing activity, resolving claim issues efficiently, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role combines hands-on claims follow-up with consistent communication across teams to help improve reimbursement outcomes.


Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day medical billing activities and oversee a steady monthly workload of approximately 800 claims.

• Investigate unpaid, delayed, or rejected claims and take appropriate action to secure timely resolution.

• Review denial trends, correct billing issues, and resubmit claims to support accurate reimbursement.
