**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Completes the rooming process, to include but not limited to vitals, height, weight, and completion of intake questions and documents and reports abnormal findings to RN or LIP.
+ Collects patient specimens, performs Point of Care Testing, and prepares specimens for transport to lab.
+ Prepares patient for exams, tests and procedures and assists with exams, treatments and procedures using sterile technique as applicable.
+ Assists with procedures such as EKG, Holter monitor application, pulse oximetry, hearing and vision screening, and disinfection and sterilization.
+ Performs patient treatments as directed, to include the application of heat or cold, simple sterile dressing changes, and application and removal of casts, braces and splints.
+ Reviews printed instructions with patients.
+ Assists with wound care under the direction of the LIP.
