Job Description
The Medical Assistant supports patient care and clinic flow through the following responsibilities:

+ Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain medical histories and vital signs, and accurately document information in the EHR

+ Ensure patient records are up to date and ready for provider review

+ Assist providers with patient preparation and in-office procedures as needed

+ Complete follow-up tasks and support care coordination after patient visits

+ Provide education and support to patients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma) to improve self-management skills
