Job Summary: The Medical Assistant will provide support in an adult outpatient orthopedic spine and pain management clinic. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, performing office duties, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the clinic. Flexibility to float among different physicians based on clinic needs is required. Location:Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, United States Responsibilities: - Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Following up with patients via phone calls
- Preparing charts and authorization forms
- Handling pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Scheduling appointments
- Stocking supplies
- Performing telephone triage
- Limited in-office injections for steroid and pain relief Required Skills & Certifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
