Provides or assists with basic patient care activities in an outpatient clinic, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) with technical skills specifically identified on applicable skills checklist for which training and competency have been established.
**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Completes the rooming process, to include but not limited to vitals, height, weight, and completion of intake questions and documents and reports abnormal findings to RN or LIP.
+ Collects patient specimens, performs Point of Care Testing, and prepares specimens for transport to lab.
+ Prepares patient for exams, tests and procedures and assists with exams, treatments and procedures using sterile technique as applicable.
+ Assists with procedures such as EKG, Holter monitor application, pulse oximetry, hearing and vision screening, and disinfection and sterilization.
