This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient information, adhering to Medicare, state, and HMO/PPO guidelines, and preparing necessary documentation, both paper and electronic.
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a system for tracking payments, addressing patient and insurance inquiries, following up on outstanding payments, and resolving financial discrepancies. Maintaining up-to-date account records and handling patient information with strict confidentiality are also essential aspects of this position.
