Job Description
**Position Summary**
Prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for any discipline. Perform take-offs on systems, material and equipment according to applicable project plans and specifications.
**Position Details**
+ Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
+ Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs.
+ Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work, using FastPIPE or FastDUCT or McCormick and/or ConEst(Intellibid) estimating software.
+ Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.
+ For electrical, perform at a minimum Estimator 1 take-off items and estimating take-off for switchgear, distribution, cable tray, UPS/PDU, emergency generators/ATS and associate...
