Job Description
A top Space manufacturing company in the Mason, OH area is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support their support of design, analysis, tolerancing, and testing of their opto-mechanical systems. This resource will follow the product from conceptualization to hardware integration and testing. They will also be responsible for:
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to multiple cross-disciplinary Engineering design teams. Teams will be tasked with developing various types of ruggedized opto-mechanical and electro-optical systems and technologies.
• Oversee or directly perform the conceptualization and development of working designs, computer models, layouts and drawings using MCAD/MCAE tools.
• Develop, review and approve engineering documentation, including product specifications, drawings, assembly procedures, and test plans/procedures. A comprehensive understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and DFMA is required. Experience with tolerance stack methodology...
