Mechanical Engineer (Valve Industry)

Salary: Up to R50 000 CTC per month (Depending on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Matric is essential
• Mechanical Engineering Diploma is essential
• Experience in one or more of the fields of mining, water reticulation, oil and gas, piping infrastructure, and manufacturing is essential
• Knowledge of the South African legislation governing pressure vessels, piping, and pressure accessories is essential, namely the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Mine Health and Safety Act as well as SANS 347 (Categorization and conformity assessment for all pressure equipment)
• Exposure to manufacturing procedures and workshop practices as well as the production machinery utilized in a manufacturing facility is essential
• Experience with pressure vessels will be an advantage
