Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0830-13, Mechanical Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC ESD MAIN PROPULSION SYS SEC -SFLC-ESD-NAME-MAIN PROP in BALTIMORE, Maryland. Responsibilities You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer and be responsible for serving as a Mechanical Engineer in the Surface Force Logistics Center for integration of the design, construction, repair and maintenance main propulsion machinery systems; i.e. diesel engines, gas turbines, propulsion shafts, bearings, seals, reduction gears, propellers/propulsors, etc. for advanced marine vehicles, surface effect ships, small cutters, boat and other platforms for the Coast Guard fleet. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
