Key Responsibilities:
The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be at the heart of our engine development cycle. You’ll be responsible for the conceptualization, detailed 3 D modelling, and drafting of critical engine components ensuring every part meets our rigorous standards for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Design & Modelling: Create complex 3 D models and detailed drawings for engine components (cylinder blocks, heads, crank mechanisms) using Solid Works, Creo, or CATIA.
Engineering Precision: Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and engineering calculations to ensure perfect interface compatibility.
Strategic Innovation: Research and propose new materials and manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining) to boost engine durability and efficiency.
Value Engineering: Drive VA/VE initiatives to optimize designs for mass production and reduce manufacturing costs.
