**Mechanic – Truck Equipment Installation & Repair**

**Job Overview**

We’re hiring a hands-on mechanic to install, repair, and customize dump trucks, municipal trucks, and related equipment. This is a fast-paced shop role with a lot of variety—ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and solving mechanical problems.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Install and repair:
+ Dump bodies, hoists, hydraulics
+ Liftgates, tarps, plows, sanders, accessories
+ Perform **MIG welding** and basic fabrication
+ Complete **12V wiring** and electrical installs
+ Use plasma or oxy-acetylene cutting tools
+ Read blueprints and work orders
+ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
+ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
+ Test equipment to ensure safe operation
+ Work closely with a team in a busy shop
