Overview

***This position will be physically located in The Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervisions and direction of the Marine Repair Supervisor, the Marine Mechanic IV troubleshoots and repairs marine engines, Hamilton water jets, and associated systems on board assigned U.S. Army vessels. Work is performed in port, or on-board moored vessels. Infrequently, there may be a requirement to work on board a vessel as part of post-repair sea trials (i.e., underway).

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoots and repairs engine equipment and systems on assigned Army vessels;

+ Support all vessels’ Chief Engineers or Engineers, as directed;

+ Determines specific parts, supplies, and material requirements for each task;
