Job Summary Under direct supervision, of the Math Department, Academic Department Specialist the work study performs routine job duties which include, but are not limited to, the following:Working in the Math Lab monitoring student that use the labMath Test ProctorMath Tutor Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reports to work on time
Uses work time wisely/efficiently
Dresses appropriately
Works as a team member
Displays a positive & enthusiastic attitude toward MSU
Serves as the first contact to the Math Lab Other Duties and Responsibilities Close and continuous supervision is provided. Minimum Requirements You must be a Math Major OR completed College Algebra and Calculus with an A OR have an ACT of a 25 on the Math portion. Additional Desirable Qualifications Sophomore status, 30 hours completed
Excellent academic ability and communication skills.
At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
