Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a degree-qualified Materials Engineer / Metallurgist to join a specialist technical team supporting customers across aerospace, motorsport, defence, medical, energy, nuclear, and advanced engineering sectors.
The Role
* Provide metallurgical and technical support to customers and internal teams.
* Prepare, etch, and assess microstructures.
* Support mechanical, physical, and chemical testing activities.
* Handle chemicals safely in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Assist with laboratory activities and customer training sessions.
Requirements
* BEng/BSc in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
* Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
* Experience with metallography, microstructure analysis, and laboratory testing.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
