Job Description

Summary: Material Attendants are responsible for safe, accurate, and timely material flow within New Bern. Material Attendants perform multiple functions in the warehouse so flexibility is important.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform standard processes that result in adherence to inventory accuracy levels to include and not limited to cycle count processes as Count)
  • Stock material in warehouse location in accordance with the standard metrics. (Put-Away) 
  • Deliver material throughout the facility in accordance with the standard
  • Follow standard procedure for unloaded and receipt of inbound materials in accordance with standard processes. (Receiving)
  • Prepare material for external shipment in accordance with standard processes. (Shipping)
  • Release and process orders to prepare material for delivery in accordance with the standards processes. (Sortation/Queue Release)
