Determines directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results of functional area. Responsible for establishing and managing budgets for one or more departments within a functional discipline within marketing such as market research, customer/consumer/shopper insights, channel/product marketing, shopper marketing, e-business/e-marketing, business/market development, branding, pricing, new product marketing, etc. Identifies and defines market/product/account opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives. Develops and leads implementation of all aspects of the marketing plan.
