**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
The Market Chief Medical Officer (MCMO) is a senior physician executive responsible for advancing clinical excellence, physician engagement, and strategic alignment across both the hospital and market levels. Serving as the local Hospital Chief Medical Officer (HCMO) while also supporting broader market initiatives, this leader partners closely with hospital executives, physicians, and operational leaders to improve quality, patient safety, patient experience, and overall clinical performance.
The MCMO reports directly to the Hospital President/CEO for local responsibilities and maintains a dotted-line relationship to the Regional Chief Medical Officer (RCMO) and Market President for market-level priorities.
