This role is ideal for a paralegal who no longer wishes to have a billable requirement or a legal assistant that is ready to trade up with strong civil litigation experience and mad technical skills. Prior maritime experience will be a huge feather in your cap!

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and file pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and motions
• Manage Louisiana state and federal e-filing (Odyssey, PACER)
• Maintain litigation calendars and track court deadlines
• Organize case files, trial binders, and exhibits
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
• Coordinate scheduling and witness preparation
