Summary This vacancy is for a GS-1801-13, MARINE INSPECTOR TRAINING OFFICER located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SECTOR NEW ORLEANS INSPECTIONS DIVISION in NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana. Responsibilities You will serve as a MARINE INSPECTOR TRAINING OFFICER and be responsible for implementation and management of the unit's Marine Inspector/Port State Control Officer (MI/PSCO) training program, and serves as a subject matter expert providing technical expertise and training leadership in the compliance duties of marine safety, vessel inspection, pollution prevention and vessel manning laws, regulations, treaties, and international conventions. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
