A profitable, bootstrapped London manufacturing partner is hiring a Manufacturing Project Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of demanding hardware customers. £45,000 to £50,000, four days a week in their studio, with funded factory visits to China.

Scope of the Role

The Manufacturing Project Engineer owns customer projects from RFQ through to delivered parts. As Manufacturing Project Engineer, you sit between UK and European hardware businesses and a network of UK and Chinese partner factories.

• Review CAD models and drawings, spot DFM issues early, and feed back to customers in plain language
• Brief partner factories so they quote and manufacture exactly what the customer expects
• Issue customer quotes, explain trade offs, and follow up without applying pressure
