Description

Position at Samtec, Inc Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Provide first level engineering support to contract manufacturer operation teams, troubleshooting process, equipment, and product issues in real time.
  • Support new product introductions and transfers for Optics and HDR products, including documentation review, capability assessments, and process/equipment qualifications.
  • Ensure adherence to Samtec control plans and standards, coordinating approval and implementation of process changes between Samtec and contract manufacturer.
  • Review and analyze process and yield data, identify trends or drifts, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
  • Design, develop, and support manual, semi‑automated, and automated tooling and equipment using CAD tools.
  • Develop and standardize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process windows to improve quality, yield, and reliability.
