- Pro-active & reactive safety activities
- Address safety observations
- Aid in CI project execution
- Support daily operation by responding to tactical safety issues
- Participate in Continuous Improvement to achieve CI200 targets for safety
- Innovate & implement safety & ergonomic improvement ideas
- Specify and design tooling to improve safety both pro-actively & reactively
- Communicate across multiple shifts
Education:
- Engineering background required and familiarity with Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a diverse team that includes UAW employees, operations, and engineering.
