The MD, Head of Business & Professional Services (B&PS) role is responsible for leading a group of talented bankers and leaders to deliver on the strategy for the industry sector. The role requires strong leadership acumen alongside the ability to lead senior client relationships up to c‑suite level. It forms part of the UK senior leadership team and is also a key component of the Global Industry team.

A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors’ products and services is necessary to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. The role requires a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and related subject areas.
