The Western Regional Office (WRO) is the operational arm of the Environmental Public Health Group and manages vector control, sanitation and public feedback in the western region of Singapore. The Manager/Assistant Manager leads a team of officers to minimise vector‑borne disease transmission, with an emphasis on rodent control, and works closely with NEA departments, other partners and agencies.

• Lead the vector control operational, administrative and logistical aspects of dengue preventive surveillance and outbreak operations.
• Identify and prioritise vector control hotspots for surveillance.
