Uber is looking for a Federal Tax Manager as a key operator within the U.S. tax function, owning the federal tax provision with a high degree of independence and supporting tax decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment. **What You'll Do:**

**Federal Tax Provision & Reporting -**

+ Own and lead the U.S. federal income tax provision (quarterly and annual), including ETR analysis, return-to-provision, and related disclosures
+ Review and validate key areas such as stock-based compensation, •162(m), •174, and other material book-tax differences
+ Support and review FIN 48 / ASC 740 uncertain tax positions
+ Ensure outputs are accurate, well-supported, and analytically sound - not just technically correct
