Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for IP (patents, trademarks and designs) prosecutions and managing client IP portfolios including:-
- Reviewing and monitoring client IP strategy
- Managing, reviewing and monitoring client portfolios and working with overseas associates
- Filing and prosecuting applications
- Drafting, reviewing and managing correspondence and office actions with examiners, clients and other stakeholders
- Managing work processes
- Assisting with IP related due diligence, including in the context of major IP transactions, corporate mergers and acquisitions and IP litigation matters
- Collaborating with other members of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology (IPMT) Practice
- Degree from a recognised university
- Minimum 5 years experience as an IP paralegal or executive preferred
