**Job Summary**

Responsible for overseeing and directing the accounting function for a specific business unit or function within the organization. Responsible for developing accounting policies, procedures and controls and implementing accounting systems pertaining to a specific business unit or accounting function. Also responsible for ensuring that the reporting and activities adhere to GAAP and company policies.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Responsible for accuracy of the financial statements and management reports for specific business unit or function. Works in partnership with business and accounting management to meet accounting needs of the business.
