What you’ll be doing

• Updating non-core financial systems with financial information ensuring both systems remain reconciled;
• Advising and training budget holders in matters of financial understanding and budgetary control;
• Preparing routine journals ensuring the management accounts accurately report income and expenditure and the balance sheet accurately records assets and liabilities, for each period;
• Supporting the production of the Directorate Packs, analysing in month and year to date variances against budget and projection and quantifying the year end impact and any potential impact to future years budgets;
