Job Description

  • Perform mammograms, biopsies, and bone density exams as applicable.
  • Conduct high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards.
  • Assist with quality control activities as needed.
  • Be a member of the direct patient care team.

    • Mammography,Biopsy,Bone Density Exams
  • Experience working as a Mammography Technologist at a hospital or medical center is highly preferred.
  • Required certifications: ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT), ARRT-M - Radiologic Technologist - Mammography (ARRT), CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation through the Texas Medical Board.
  • Demonstrate skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through ongoing skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
