**Maintenance Technician**

Portage, IN | $30–$40/hour | All Shifts Available

**Overview**

Join a growing food manufacturing company as a Maintenance Technician supporting high-speed packaging and processing equipment in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. This role is primarily mechanical (70%) with electrical work (30%), requiring strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment including conveyors, baggers, labelers, mixers, X-ray machines, and shrink equipment
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues (up to 480V)
+ Diagnose and repair VFDs, PLCs (I/O), and HMI systems
+ Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
+ Troubleshoot sensors and photo eyes
+ Complete MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication
+ Document work in MRP/CMMS systems
