The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on all refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems within the cold storage facility. The role ensures the continuous operation of critical equipment and infrastructure to support the safe and efficient storage of fruit exports. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily checks and regular inspections of critical equipment, including refrigeration units, electrical systems, mobile racking, other racking systems, and general facility infrastructure to identify potential issues and ensure systems are functioning at optimal levels. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling tunnels. Conduct temperature probe calibrations to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
