Overview:A MAINTENANCE LEAD PERSON assists with the maintenance of the plant’s equipment, including preventive maintenance, along with a variety of other duties as assigned by the lead person, supervisor, or manager. Successful candidate will assist department supervisor and facilities manager with special projects and overall direction of the department.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
+ Directs crews and establishes priorities through communication with Facility and Operations Management.
+ Must have a good working knowledge of machine controls (PLC, relay, AC motor drives, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam control valves including pilot and solenoid types).
+ Must possess fabrication skills including the use of basic shop equipment as well as tig and mig welding and basic lathe and millwork.
