Performs lagging, coating, and insulation work related to the construction and operation of chemical processing. Covers a wide range of plant piping, tankage, buildings, and equipment.This is a Union non-exempt position. The starting pay rate is $

Responsibilities Include:
Repair andmaintainsteam and electrical pip tracing.
Apply/remove insulating materials such as calcium silicate, fiberglass, andaerotuberubber on pipes, vessels, and tanks using techniques such as wiring insulating materials around steam, hot water piping, and refrigeration.
Fabricate detachable insulation for valves or similar fittings. Wire detachable covers on valves or fittings using hand tools.
Install fiberglass on ventilating systems to deaden sound.
