Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading PLC business who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their facility near Mansfield.

Salary: £47,500 + bonus

Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotation of days/nights)

Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will provide site-based engineering support to minimise downtime and ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite automated equipment
  • Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment 
  • Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults
  • Respond to automation faults and breakdowns promptly ensuring minimal downtime
  • Prioritise system faults and optimise uptime and availability of onsite automated equip...
