Requirements

• Time served electrician with industrial / maintenance experience
• 17th / 18th Edition
• Extensive knowledge of fault finding
• Knowledge and experience of working to a periodic planned maintenance system – including completion of maintenance inspection records.
• Reactive maintenance repairs of mobile plant including road vehicles, forklift trucks, mobile cranes, dockside & gantry cranes, cherry pickers and scissor lifts
• Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards, and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
• Experience of working on DC systems
• Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics
• Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment in line with relevant legislation.
