Function Engineering Facility Position Maintenance Assistant Introduction

A vacancy exists for a Maintenance Assistant, based at Life Beacon Bay Hospital reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The incumbent will be responsible for assistance in maintaining, inspecting and basic elements of electrical and air conditioning systems, plumbing, structural improvements and general maintenance.

Critical Outputs

The candidate will be responsible for the restoration/repairs of buildings and equipment, risk management and daily check lists.

The candidate must have a good understanding of plant equipment.

The candidate must be self-motivated and disciplined.

Excellent completion of daily job cards as well as feedback thereof is high priority.

The candidate will be responsible and involved in SHEQ procedures.

Excellent fault-finding skills are a must.
