Job Description

Gladstone-based, permanent, and hands-on from day one. This is a role you can really get stuck into.

We’re looking for a Maintainer Operator to join our team at the NRG Power Station in Gladstone. Reporting to the Team Leader – Ash Operations, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and servicing of the ash processing plant.

A trade qualification or mechanical aptitude is advantageous, but not essential.

This role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, with one weekend every four weeks.

Your Opportunity

In this role you will:

  • Operate and maintain ash processing plant equipment including pneumatic conveying systems, pneumatic systems and valves

  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance and contribute to equipment commissioning

  • Monitor product quality through sample taking, analysis and minor reporting
