Position Summary

The Mainframe Systems Programmer provides support for on-going projects that require the installation, testing, and implementation of new z/OS operating systems and other ‘system’ software. Also, the Maintenance and debugging of systems software. Monitoring and tuning of systems software. Functional knowledge, use of z/OS components and detailed knowledge of support products such as tape management, scheduling, security, monitoring systems, and other z/OS supporting systems software. Note: Thisis notan Applications Programming position.

Key Areas of Focus for this Role

+ Participate in On-call Schedule.

+ Incident / Problem resolution

  z/OS & Tools your main tasks are related to: 

+ Incident, change and problem handling. 

+ Configuration and customization. 

+ Setup of parameters. 

+ Communication with vendors.
