**Amentum is seeking a Machinist to support the Space Force Range contract.**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Fabricate and assemble tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures and small components of non-complex electro/mechanical, radar, telemetry, weather, communications, and optical instrumentation systems under guidance of qualified personnel
+ Perform lathe and milling machine work to tolerances no less than .005”
+ Perform occasional corrosion control activities, including but not limited to surface preparation, sand blasting, spot painting and touchup
+ Perform non-complex mechanical tasks
+ Assist with silver soldering, assembly, fabrication and modification to all wave-guide installation and repair tasks
+ Assist in solving difficult and unusual fabrication problems under the guidance of qualified personnel and perform modification repairs as required.
