Operate various machinery, including lathe turning machines, conventional milling machines, drilling machines, and grinding machines, to produce and modify metal parts according to engineering drawings. Verify the precision of machined parts using measurement tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers. Conduct routine maintenance on shop machinery to ensure optimal performance. Requirements
National Trade Certificate in Metal/Precision Machining or an equivalent certification. Relevant experience in metal and precision machining. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, including an understanding of geometrical tolerances.
